Calento is a full-stack Calendar Intelligence Assistant built to reduce manual scheduling work. It combines a minimal calendar workspace, Google OAuth and two-way sync, public booking flows, AI chat with RAG/function calling, background jobs, email reminders, team collaboration, task management, and production infrastructure.
Traditional calendar tools still require too many manual actions: checking free time, creating events, resolving conflicts, sending confirmations, and switching between tools. The report frames this as a productivity problem for students, office workers, teams, and professionals who need a faster way to manage time.
Calento turns calendar management into an assisted workflow: users can manage events visually, sync with Google Calendar, share booking links, ask an AI assistant to query or create schedules, and rely on background queues for reminders and periodic synchronization.
The screens are grouped by user journey: hosts configure booking rules, guests reserve time, then Calento turns the calendar workspace into an AI-assisted planning surface.
